Collage Work 

Throughout most of my conscious life, I've filled notebooks and journals with what I call 'journaling'. This term has taken on a name of its own nowadays, but to me, it meant collaging. I have about 20 journals filled with my art work, and I lost the passion as I got older, that or I didn't have the time or energy to do it anymore. While I was abroad in Europe this summer, I found myself collecting scrap pieces of paper. This evolved to searching everywhere I could to find things to put in my journal. This passion has come back, and I find myself making time almost everyday to work on my journal. It feels incredible to have a creative outlet again, especially something physical that I can hold in my hands. Many pages are unfinished, but I like to view them as works in progress. I also incorporate drawing in them, and I hope to add poetry to some pages as well, eventually.  Enjoy :)
